The short version: the app knows an anonymous id, whatever you decide to put on a handle, and which minute you were in. It never knows your name.

No cookies, no analytics, nothing collected. The live minute and the “it’s 11:11 somewhere” line are computed inside your browser from your own clock and public timezone data — nothing is sent anywhere.

You are signed in anonymously: no email, no password, no phone number. Everything you write is tied to that anonymous id.

You are a ghost until you switch visibility on. A ghost is counted and nothing else — invisible even to someone looking you up directly. Turn visibility on and a room can see the handle, country and up to five interests you chose, and nothing more.

A line to the globe is public to the room you posted it in, for as long as that minute is alive. You can take it down at any time.

Your contact detail is the one private thing, and it stays on your phone. It is written into a request only at the moment you accept one, where only you and that person can read it. Declining shares nothing. The rules on the server refuse to store contact details on a public profile at all.

The app never shows you a past minute — when the clock turns, the room is replaced by the new one. Behind that, the server stops serving a dead minute’s presence and lines about twenty-five minutes after it ends.

Any line or person can be reported. Reports go to a mailbox that only a moderator can read, and no one else can read back. Blocking someone hides them on your device from that moment on.

Turning visibility off removes your public profile from view; deleting the app ends the anonymous id it was tied to. For anything else, ask.
